Just stopping by :)

Gosh, I've been sooooo tired lately from work and sports that I haven't had time to do anything creative. My desk looks like a mess and the mess and the dust have gladly become close friends until tonight when I slightly shook a little of it of. I hope to get creative soon .. yet again :) but this time using everything that I already have. Although I have the new job, I'm learning, use what you got, but if it's on sale for a really good deal then buy it :)

Jesus loves you!

Going back to work on Monday :(

Ok after one full year of being a sahm, I'm going back to work. I am a little sad that I no longer will be able to hang out with my baby girl and boys, but it will be ok. It's life at the moment. I do pray for everyone that has been part of a lay off, or just unemployed looking for a job. I have to admit when I was laid off , I was hurt and then took it for what it was, a blessing to be with my family. Now that I return to work, I may have less time for my crafts, but still continue the strong family bond that we share. Thank you and God Bless!

Happy New Year 2009

Happy New Year! we made it through another year! Goodbye 2008, a year of getting laid off, being blessed with staying home with my children, having a great summer with my family and experiencing the great joys that Jesus has brought into my life. Although it's just starting, I see a year of being blessed with good things .... LOVE and family!

My gourmet rice crispy treats

Made rice crispy treats for my 7 yr old sons class. I put 'em on a cookie sheet and used a cookie cutter to make the stars, cut out an ornament with the cricut and put in a clear bag. My son said that all the kids were raving about them and wanted the recipe, how cute is that.... oh what makes them "gourmet" is that I colored and melted frosting and drizzled over the rice crispy treats and let it dry before I bagged. Thought I'd share, made using the side of the box recipe, enjoy

It's finally over! and a new one begins :)

So Christmas is finally over, the shopping, the wrapping, and pretty much the chaos. Although the tree is still up (not for long) and there are still a couple of gifts under there for my nephew, son's Godfather and sister in law, it's officially over! As for New Years, who knows where we will be now that husband has the Wii and of course Guitar Hero (the whole band!) going. It's actually pretty fun, but I can't wait until we finally get our hands on a Wii Fit (tooo hard to find at the moment) anyhooooooo , here was my Christmas card (one of a couple I made)

*I know you can't see the paper, but it's glitter"y" and I used my new Cuttlebug to emboss the middle white section...Hello love that thing

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas!

It's me, still christmas shopping and wrapping, finished my big invitation order the first week of dec, still working on cards and will have pics of stuff that I have completed soon. I got my Cuttlebug so that is a new chapter in my scrappy life.

Christmas is almost here :)

So Christmas is almost here and I am working on invitations to get out by Friday, then I need to start working on school stuff for both my sons and of course take care of the household. I'm glad that Thanksgiving is over, but sad to see another year have gone by so quickly. I know I need to start updating more often, but I will post a couple of my past projects and more to come.
